community at Kingston Frontenac Public Library's Summer Reading Party.

summer reading, work toward Summer Reading Challenge goals, and enjoy the simple pleasure ofreading together in a welcoming atmosphere.
The Summer Reading Party brings together everything readers love about the Library: a cozy
atmosphere, bookish conversation, live music, games and activities, Anita Coffee Cart and
opportunities to connect with fellow readers. Whether attendees prefer reading indoors in the comfort of the air-conditioned library or outside in the beautiful Lions Civic Gardens, everyone is welcome to slow down, unplug and enjoy an afternoon with a great book.
“We’re so excited to welcome teens and adults to the Isabel Turner Branch for our Summer Reading Party!” says Cara Hannaford, Adult Services Librarian at Kingston Frontenac Public Library. “We wanted to create an event that makes reading feel like a celebration. Enjoy some coffee, live music, log your Summer Reading Challenge minutes and meet other readers!”
At 2:00 p.m., attendees are invited to join Books and Beans, a casual book-discussion mixer, to chat about your latest reads and discover new recommendations.
It’s not too late to sign up for KFPL’s Summer Reading Challenges. Readers of all ages can register on Beanstack, log their reading minutes, complete activities and earn tickets toward multiple prize draws.
