The Kingston Canadian Film Festival is back for its 26th year, with the 2026 edition running through March 1. The festival, the largest in the world dedicated exclusively to Canadian film, returned last night after a record-setting 25th anniversary year.
Festival Director Marc Garniss says the momentum from last year has continued, with attendance tracking at or above 2025 levels, and a sense that the festival has fully regained its pre-pandemic energy.
As an all-Canadian festival, KCFF continues to showcase homegrown films alongside live music, comedy, panels, and workshops.
