Taking place on Sept. 22 at Confederation Park and Springer Market Square, the Intercultural Arts Festival is an annual family-friendly event that highlights our multicultural community through live music and dance performances, workshops, an arts and crafts market and international cuisine.

“The Intercultural Arts Festival has become a cherished community event in Kingston, fostering cultural understanding and strengthening relationships,” said Vanessa Mensah, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Manager at the City of Kingston. “Embracing and celebrating our differences and similarities strengthens our connections and enhances our sense of community.”

Participants may set up a maximum of two 10’x10’ pop-up style tents at the festival’s International Pavillion. We are also looking for groups interested in performing on the main stage or hosting interactive cultural activities throughout the day. If you would like to participate in this year’s festival, please fill out our Expression of Interest form by June 30.
