City of Kingston celebrates outstanding volunteers with annual Civic Awards

Six outstanding community volunteers are being recognized with the City of Kingston’s esteemed Civic Awards. These annual awards celebrate residents who generously donate their time to the community in the areas of culture, heritage, recreation, sports, health, education, environment, safety, or business.

The City is honoured to celebrate these recipients of the 2023 Civic Awards:

- First Capital Distinguished Citizen: Lynda Colgan

- Honourable Achievement: Janice Barling and Marci McMullen

- Youth Volunteerism: Etienne Bougie, Sekai Chikodzi and Ravnoor Kang
