Buskers After Dark Returns to Light Up Friday Night at Kingston Buskers Rendezvous

Kingston, ON – [Wednesday, July 9, 2025] – After an unforgettable debut last year, Buskers After Dark is back for its second year—this time lighting up Friday night of Kingston Buskers Rendezvous with an electrifying mix of music, fire, and fun.

On Friday, July 11, from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Springer Market Square will transform into a high-energy, licensed night venue as local favourite DJ Truwayz returns to set the vibe. Known for his high-impact mixes and crowd-pleasing style, Truwayz will perform two independent sets and collaborate with this year’s top circle show performers to present a mind-blowing fire show you won’t want to miss.

The evening's schedule includes:

Daft’s Wandering Bar will be on site starting at 8:00 p.m., serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The entire square is licensed, so attendees can enjoy refreshments while soaking in the entertainment. For an extra splash of fun, glow wands will be available for just $2 each (cash only, while supplies last).

“Buskers After Dark took everyone by surprise last year—in the best way,” says Sandi Griffiths, events manager with the Downtown Kingston Business Improvement Area. “We’re thrilled to bring it back with even more energy, more fire, and more ways for people to enjoy downtown Kingston after hours.”
