TK Fringe returns for 10th anniversary season

August 4, 2026

The Theatre Kingston Fringe Festival returns Aug. 6-16 as part of the Kick & Push Festival, bringing 17 shows to Kingston over 11 days.

Unlike most of Kick & Push, the TK Fringe is an uncurated lineup, with artists entering a lottery for a spot. This means the festival can bring together a wide range of performances and give artists the chance to try something they might not otherwise have had the opportunity to stage.

“We're kind of a scrappy younger sister of the Kick & Push Festival,” Artistic Director Rosemary Doyle described in an interview with CFRC. “...It's got a little bit more of an air of excitement and an air of like, here, we're going to do this because why not?”

Listen to the full story here as Doyle looks back on 10 years of the Fringe, talks about this year’s changes, including the move to the Tett Centre, and shares what she hopes is next for the festival.
