The Thousand Islands Association (TIA) will be hosting the Shoreline Breakfast and AGM on Saturday along the banks of the St. Lawrence River at the Thousand Islands Playhouse.

And in the process, it will be celebrating 90 years.

The TIA considers itself "a not for profit organization that is proactive in addressing safety on the river, promoting environmental preservation and supporting the interests of the community for the benefit of the 1000 Islands region of the St. Lawrence River."

The Shoreline Breakfast and AGM will begin with registration at 8 a.m, followed by breakfast served at 8:30 a.m. (pre-payment for breakfast is required: adults $15.99, children ten-and-under $8.99).

The morning will be filled with food, community, live music from Tim Hallman, prizes, and the organization's featured speaker, Scott MacCrimmon, president of Hucks Marine and Resort.

With more than 40 years of experience and a passion for boating, MacCrimmon is a recognized leader in the boating industry. His talk will be focused on the evolution of boating.

This event serves as a way for people of all ages to connect and celebrate the Thousand Islands region and 90 years of TIA on the River, the organization said.

Tickets are available by going to thousandislandsassociation.com.
