The Life of a Showgirl (Kingston’s Version) — Swift-themed events take over downtown ahead of new album release

Kicking off today and spanning until October 2, Kingston’s downtown will transform into a celebration of all things Taylor Swift with Life of a Swiftie—a new event series timed with the release of her album The Life of a Showgirl.

What started as a listening party hosted by the Downtown Kingston BIA quickly grew into a downtown-wide celebration as local businesses rallied behind the idea, with over 20 businesses jumping in with a Swiftie twist on what they do best.

“We know that there are so many Swifties right here in Kingston, and we wanted to give them unique experiences with her music,” said Nayeli Salazar with the BIA, who spearheaded the event.
