The Estate of Larry Gibson Providing Matching Funds to Y’s Ignite the Spark Campaign

Eastern Ontario – The YMCA of Eastern Ontario has some exciting news to share!

The Estate of Larry Gibson has once again stepped up to support our annual fundraising campaign by offering to match donations up to $45,000! We are extremely grateful for this generous gift and encourage you to make your donation while you can double your impact. Every $1 donated provides $2 in support of kids, teens and seniors in our communities.

“We are very grateful for the support shown us by the Estate of Larry Gibson. It means that $90,000 is given to our financial assistance program for the $45,000 raised. It goes a long way to ensure that everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, can access the Y’s healthy programs and services, sparking possibilities for so many,” said Rob Adams, CEO, YMCA of Eastern Ontario. “Every year we are humbled by the spirit of our community as donors dig deep to support others; the matching fund program doubles this community impact.”

Every donation helps to ignite the spark in our community, helping us reach our individual and collective potentials!

The fundraising goal for the 2024 Ignite the Spark campaign is $432,000.
