The Great Lakes Museum is diving into the season with its first-ever Halloween event aboard the S.S. Keewatin.
On Sunday, October 26, visitors can take part in Lock & Kee, an escape-room-style event where guests solve puzzles to help the Captain regain control of the ship from mischievous spirits.
“She’s older than the Titanic, but of that era, so as you can imagine, it is not very difficult to make something of that era a little bit creepy,” says Claire Notman, Visitor Experience Manager at the Great Lakes Museum. “…a few spider webs go a long way.”
Guests will move through the ship’s “spookified” dining room, lounge, and cabins, and can expect some “surprises” along the way.
