S.S. Keewatin hosts successful first-ever Halloween event

The ghosts of the S.S. Keewatin were busy last weekend welcoming nearly 200 visitors aboard for the ship’s first-ever Halloween event, Lock & Kee.

The interactive event saw visitors solving puzzles and following clues throughout the ship to help a stranded Captain regain command of the ship from mischievous Halloween spirits.

“We’re thrilled with the turnout for our first event,” said the museum’s Visitor Experience Manager Claire Notman. “The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with many visitors praising the experience as engaging and accessible to all ages without being overly frightening. For many, it was their first visit aboard the ship. We hope to see them return!”

Notman says the success of this event paves the way for more events aboard the S.S. Keewatin in the future.
