Providence Care recruiting volunteers at annual fair
June 16, 2026
Kingston] - Providence Care will host its second annual Volunteer Fair to connect community members with opportunities to support patients, clients and residents on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
Providence Care volunteers help create a welcoming and supportive care experience across our hospitals, hospice house, long-term care home and in community programs. The Volunteer Fair will showcase a range of roles available across Providence Care’s programs and sites. Attendees will also have the opportunity to complete a volunteer application.
“Volunteering at Providence Care offers community members a meaningful way to contribute, connect with others, and support people during important moments of care,” says Stacy Jowett, Director, Volunteer Services. “Each month, our volunteers contribute more than 3,000 hours across our sites, demonstrating the incredible impact of giving back and the vital role volunteers play in our community.”

They make a real difference in how people experience care at Providence Care — and often find a strong sense of connection, purpose and belonging in return. We are grateful for our volunteers and look forward to welcoming new community members who are interested in making a difference.”
