Nominate a person, organization or business for the 2023 Celebrating Accessibility Awards
September 18, 2023
Help recognize those who inspire change and make the community more inclusive by nominating them for the 2023 Celebrating Accessibility Awards.
Now in their 13th year, these awards celebrate individuals, organizations and businesses in Kingston who have made or are making a significant contribution beyond legislated requirements to improve access for persons with disabilities in Kingston.
“Accessibility and inclusion go hand-in-hand,” says Derek Ochej, Acting Deputy City Clerk.
“Building an inclusive community starts with identifying and removing the barriers that prevent people from fully participating at work or in their daily life. These awards are an opportunity to recognize the progress being made by individuals, organizations and businesses to put accessibility first.”
