Fans of the hit CBC series Murdoch Mysteries are in for a unique treat later this month, as the Kingston Symphony presents “Murder in F Major” on Saturday, Nov. 22 at Kingston Grand Theatre.

Hosted by actor Thomas Craig and composer Robert Carli, the event gives a rare behind-the-scenes look at one of Canada’s longest-running series while blending live orchestral performance and television.

“When you’re watching a film or a television show, you shouldn’t be listening to the music really that much. It’s more of an emotional character, giving you emotional beats,” Carli said in an interview with CFRC. “But then when you have an opportunity to see it being performed, it kind of changes things a little bit. It’s a wonderful experience.”

Tickets are available now at kingstonsymphony.ca.
