A unique collaboration between two Kingston cultural organizations is bringing medical history and classic horror cinema together at The Screening Room this month.

For the first time, the Canadian Museum of Health Care is partnering with the Cinema Society of Kingston for a three-week film series entitled The Doctor Is In. Each Sunday afternoon for the rest of February, medically themed horror films will be introduced by the museum’s curator, Rowena McGowan, alongside film scholar Dr. Dan Vena, with historical context and artifacts from the museum’s collection.

Listen to the full story here, where CFRC sits down with Rowena McGowan to learn more about the partnership and what audiences can expect from the series.
