Annual KGH Auxiliary Teddy Bear Campaign returns to support pediatric care

December 1, 2025

This year’s Kingston General Hospital (KGH) Auxiliary’s Teddy Bear Campaign has officially launched.

Since the annual campaign began in 2004, it has raised more than half a million dollars, providing funds for new equipment for the Pediatric Program at Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC).

Last year, more than 300 teddy bears were delivered to young patients, and community donations brought the hospital past the midpoint of its two-year, $55,000 goal for a point-of-care ultrasound machine.

This year’s campaign runs until Dec. 23, with the goal of crossing the finish line on that two year commitment.
