A 31-year tradition continues with release of new Kingston landmark ornaments

November 21, 2025

After 31 years, the Downtown Kingston BIA is still uncovering iconic local landmarks to feature in its annual pewter ornament collection. This year’s lineup includes The Bajus Brewery, Louise House, The Broom Factory, Skeleton Park, and a special piece marking the 150th anniversary of the Royal Military College.

“You’d think after 31 years that we would sort of run out of buildings, but no,” said Jan MacDonald, Downtown Kingston’s Director of Events, in an interview with CFRC. “Kingston is so historically rich that it seems like we have an endless pool to choose from.”

Alongside the new releases, the BIA is also offering past ornaments and curated themed sets, including a Tragically Hip collection and classic Kingston landmarks.
