Union Gallery Call for Artists Ends Nov 15

UNION GALLERY CALLING ALL ARTISTS:

ARTWORK SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR OUR ANNUAL FUNDRAISER SIDE BY SIDE, AND WE’VE INTRODUCED SOME BIG CHANGES!!!

For many years, artists generously donate their work to support Union year after year, which meaningfully contributes to our operations. While keeping the lottery-style approach to our ticketed event, we feel strongly that it is time to introduce a way for our artists to earn some revenue, too. 

HOW IT WORKS

Artists are invited to submit up to five (5) "ready to hang" artworks each. Original artwork in a variety of 2D media is accepted (paintings, photographs, drawings, prints), as well as small-scale sculptures. Artwork values are set by the artists (either $100 or $200). Artists donate 1 artwork at 100% value and may submit up to 4 additional works with the option of donating 50% or 100% of the value of each. 

Submissions are juried on a rolling basis by side by side 2024 co-curators. All those who submit artworks will receive a reply. Selected artworks will be displayed in an exhibition at Union Gallery leading up to the live event.

All funds raised directly support Union Gallery's non-profit work and admission-free programming, including exhibitions, artist opportunities, workshops, performances and more.

TO SUBMIT ARTWORKS: fill out the submission form by November 15, 2023. Artists will be notified of selection results by November 28, 2023.
