CFRC Orientation Week Events

Welcome back Queen's students!

CFRC 101.9 FM, YOUR campus radio station is excited to welcome you all back this fall to Queen's University!  Join us during Orientation Week for great opportunities to learn more about how you can get involved with your campus radio station and to learn more about the amazing music and spoken word programming we have on our airwaves and podcasts!

Sept 2nd 7:30 PM-Join us at Nixon Field for the Student Experience Office's Welcome Home Night!  CFRC DJ Darius Caloia will be spinning amazing beats for your listening pleasure until 10:30 PM.  Drop by our booth and say hi!  

Sept 3rd 2:30-6:30-Learn more about CFRC and other amazing student clubs at the upcoming Queen's in the Park event taking place in lower City Park (entrance at the corner of Stuart and Barrie Streets).  Meet current CFRC student volunteers and learn more about how you can start your own radio show and learn more about the services CFRC offers student clubs (ie: free on air interviews and advertisements!)

Sept 9th 10:30-6-Pop by our booth on University Avenue during the ever-popular ASUS Sidewalk Sale!  Meet current CFRC staff and volunteers, learn how you can start a radio show or podcast, learn about our work-study job opportunities, our upcoming DJ skills workshops and more!

Anytime!  Stay on the look out for the CFRC Pop Up DJ Booth in front of Carruthers Hall between Sept 4th and 8th!  Come record a station ID, check out our HUGE vinyl collection and newly refurbished studios!  Sign up for our DJ skills workshops happening this fall!  Dance on the street to some super awesome beats!
