CFRC 101.1FM is the campus-community radio station serving Kingston and area for almost 90 years. Our signal stretches from Belleville to Brockville and Smiths Falls to Watertown, NY, with 48,000 listeners within the Kingston area. We offer students and community members at large an opportunity to gain free experience in radio broadcasting and present content and news not heard in mainstream media.
We believe in supporting non-profits and other similar groups who do not have an advertising budget or access to mainstream media, and whose interests are grassroots, community-oriented, and run parallel to CFRC’s. One of the ways we do this is by offering in-kind advertising.
What You Can Expect From CFRC:
- CFRC will run two weeks’ worth of 30-seconds ads, placed to air 3 times a day
- CFRC will post your event listing on our website for two weeks
What We Ask For:
- CFRC’s logo on your posters, flyers, website and other promotional materials, if applicable
- An opportunity for CFRC to set up an outreach and merchandise table at your event
- $40 production fee for in-house recording and mixing of your on-air announcement
Larger sponsorship arrangements are available for festivals, seasonal programs, etc.
Not a non-profit? For-profit businesses and promoters may be eligible for our regular advertising packages, which are affordable and offer you tailored promotion on our airwaves.
