CFRC inaugural broadcast was a Queen’s vs McGill Football game, broadcast from Richardson Stadium in 1923. CFRC proudly upholds the tradition of providing coverage of the Gaels airing Football, Hockey and Basketball games each year!
CFRC’s Sports Department is headed by the Sports Coordinator and run by several Sports Volunteers. Every year the Sports crew provides game play by play and colour commentary coverage of Gaels games and travels to away games to broadcast from out of town. If you are passionate about sports, journalism and radio we’d love you to join our team! Available positions are on-air broadcasters, in-studio hosts and in-studio producers/board-operators.
