This week’s Wildcard: Radio Is Dead?
On Friday January 28th the CRTC announced that they had decided to revoke CKLN 88.1FM’s broadcast license. Decisions like this although limited in scope tend to set precedence for future decisions. The loss of this 27 year old campus-community radio station is a real loss for community radio across the country.
On Monday January 31st at 4:00PM we will be re-broadcasting CKUT’s special ‘Radio Is Dead?’ a collection of responses to this recent decision.
