CFRC Launches DJ Service and Community Sound System!
CFRC 101.9FM, Kingston’s only campus-community radio station, is launching its community sound system and DJ service, beginning December 1, 2010.
Through the station’s new DJ service, listeners and community members can hire some of their favourite CFRC radio DJs to provide specialty and underground music for local events. The community sound system offers low-cost rentals on portable, mobile sound equipment including powered speakers and DJ gear. As of December 1, members of the community can access rates, DJ profiles and rental details by visiting the DJ Service / Community Sound system page on our website, under “Services.”

Hockey: Queen’s Gaels take on Western’s Mustangs and Waterloo’s Warriors
Friday November 26th catch a live play by play of Gaels vs Mustangs at the Kingston Memorial Center. Tune in at 7:20pm for the PreGame to get a run down of your announcers and the players.
Also, tune in Saturday November 27th at 8:20pm as Gaels square off against Waterloo’s Warriors!

Kingston Staged Thursday the 18th: Royal Wood at Agnes Etherington
Thursday, November 18 on Kingston Staged, CFRC presents Royal Wood recorded live at the Agnes Etherington Art Centre.
Royal Wood’s piano-driven pop music is the perfect combination of compelling songwriting and stunning musicianship. His music is everything from infectious pop tunes to warm soulful ballads. Royal sat down at the Steinway to play us a few tunes before talking to us about touring, recording, and songwriting. You can hear it 1pm on 101.9fm CFRC.
